Documents required
1. In case of Education document attestation:

• The convocation certificate / or Std XII or Std X Marksheet in (original)
• Final year marksheet (copy)
• If holding a visa, copy of the visa is required.
• Two passport size photographs.
• Passport photocopy (First and last two pages)

2. In case of Birth Certificate / Marriage certificate attestation:

• Original marriage certificate / birth certificate.
• Passport photocopy (First and last two pages)
• If holding a visa, copy of the visa is required.
• Two passport size photographs.

3. In case of : 'Apostille' Attestation from Ministry of External Affairs

Apostille attestation are issued on the documents - personal like birth, death, affidavits, power of attorneys, marriage, etc and educational documents like degree, diplomas, matriculation, secondary level certificates and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).

Procedure: All documents will be first authenticated by the designated agencies in the State from where the document has been issued. In case of personal documents, Home Department/General Administration Department are the designated authorities. Documents attested by these authorities will then be presented to MEA for issue of Apostilles.
